Larry Madowo, on 15th September, interviewed the world’s prominent billionaire and Microsoft co-founder, Bill Gates. The interview covered discussions on the world’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Larry had prior informed the public on the interview saying,”Catch my interview with Bill Gates all day today across the BB, on TV and radio, wherever you are in the world.” Larry Madowo and Bill Gates talked about the effects of COVID-19 in the economy, vaccines and how the pandemic has paralyzed the yearly Goalkeeper’s event that is hosted under the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation .

The World Economic Forum recently named him among the 115 world’s most promising young leaders under 40 years. The forum stated that Larry earned his recognition after fruitfully launching six new business TV shows as the BBC Africa Business Editor. The shows are aired in three different languages: French, Swahili and English.
Larry Madowo has also been part of the Contributing Columnist for the Washington Post’s Global Opinions Page. He has written articles for BBC as well as CNN. Larry’s well known to be an outspoken journalist and defender of the press freedom in Kenya. This was before he joined the global journalism space.
