What comes into your mind when you hear the word music?

The beats that makes you want to get up on your feet and join in on the rhythm.

The rhythm that comes about due to the harmonization of the beats.

Also,the sweet melodies that are created by both the beats and the rhythm. However,There is more to music than just the beats, rhythm and the melodies.

What Music Entails

Music encompasses all, included in the making process; the artists, beat kings, the producers.Again,not forgetting all who ensure that the music gets to us through the various platforms. The music production process is usually not a fast process as many people perceive. It should be noted that as in all processes there are difficulties and ways in which all try to overcome them,so is music.

Beat kings or simply the beat makers create the beats with instruments such as guitars, drums, violins, pianos and many more. Using these instruments, they input the beats externally to a sequencer. In some sequencers one can make the beats internally by acting up like playing a guitar, simply by using your mouse.

Sequencers come in varying qualities from being free to premium. Sequencers, which come in quality, have more good features than the free one. For a sequencer to work in your laptop or desktop check on processor speed and let your computer have a great storage.

Already made beats are passed through different processes for them to be perfect; the mixing and the hard part of it all the mastering (takes several years of experience and presents one of the challenges). The beat already made, they are presented to the artist to make lyrics with them. The songwriting process comes into effect, where the artist writes the song, or assisted to write them where necessary and the lyrics arranged together with the chorus and the bridges.

Music Recording

The song recording takes place severally working on the notes here and there, the flow of the lyrics .Perfection is key at this point, and when it has all done, the music audio is ready. The challenge at this point comes in; the producer and the artist have to wait for the right time to release it. At the meantime, they should work on the music video. Once all is ready, the music is ready to be posted in the various platforms such as YouTube, iTunes, boomplay, Spotify just to mention a few. Some artist prefer to release the audio first to check on the feedback and reacts through the audience, then follows the video.

Album Release.

Mostly after a year, the artist may have released some few music and they feel the tracks are good they put them into an album averagely consisting of 12 or more tracks. The album consists of a title

My opinion, an album is what really reflect the artist’s work not just a single song, which maybe rocked the continent, or the world .It shows the artist consistency and the work as a whole. Artist should really focus on making albums to put their works down in one place.
