WAFALME INT’L-All You Need To Know

WAFALME INT’L is a duo gospel band formerly known as the ‘Gospel Spreaders’ consist of two young Kenyans namely; George Mutua and Paul Bolo. They first met in a local church, (Christ Temple Community Church) in the Coastal side of Kenya whereby their pastor Rev.Collins Melford Bolo was their mentor who has been nurturing them to become Holistic in Health and in Growth.This was in the year 2009.

George Mutua (aka Georgez) was born and raised in Likoni Mombasa Island he was a praise and worship leader, youth chairman at his local church and studied music at National Youth Talent Academy(NYTA) in Kenya, since then his passion for music has never cease.

Paul Bolo (aka PMB) was born and raised in southern side of Mombasa Island at the Kenya Navy Barracks whereby his entire family loved singing and all his brothers and sister were in a local band that’s where his passion

About Their Name

The name WAFALME INT’L is a Swahili word meaning ‘’KING ‘derived from the book of Proverbs 22:29 and Mathew 10:18 respectively whereby Yahweh is our King and we belong to his Kingdom, we should be witnesses of Yahweh to the kings and rulers of this world, our mind should be mingled with kingship in us.

Hailed as the best gospel group of the year 2013 at Coast Music Awards and best gospel Award winning Group 2012Insyder magazine, WAFALME INT’L have been bringing their old time-good music audiences in Kenya since 2009.WAFALME music has its roots in the country old-time folk, and modern way of their story line blues traditions of Kenyan music.
