What can be sweeter than honey in this world? There are many options when it comes to sweeteners, but honey has for many years stand out to be the sweetest thing. Honey is made by bees using nectar that’s why it is purely natural. There are different colors and blends of honey depending on the flower in which the nectar was obtained. It is rich in nutrients and it’s highly regarded because of its medicinal value. It is also usable in  sweetening sweets and desserts. Honey has many components, but the largest component is carbonates which consist of glucose and fructose.

Benefits of Honey.

It may sound cliché, but one can eat raw honey. Raw honey can help with seasonal allergies because of continuous exposure to the pollen. After honey harvesting it has to be purified to remove any impurities that may be present. Just like its sweetness, honey has many sweet benefits health benefits.

Some risks of honey: Using a large amount of honey can increase blood sugar levels. Giving children  under 1 year honey is not  good.
The benefits of honey are most pronounced when one replaces it with another sugar that is unhealthier.
