Amanda Gorman a 22 year old girl is now at the to of the world, after her powerful poem that she did at the President Joe Biden’s inauguration ceremony. She got an opportunity to recite a poem at the swearing of the 46th president of United sates that was held on 20th January 21, 2021.Amanda had everyone’s attention with her sterling performance and mastery of words .She really captured the moment of the day.

Amanda is the youngest inaugural poet in the United States .She had worked hard to make sure she had finished writing the poem before the inauguration”. I had this huge thing, probably one of the most important things I will ever do in my career”, she said in an interview. The poem was entitled “The Hill We Climb”. Besides this poem, Amanda also has other poems that she mostly shares online and also recite at other small events.

Her articulation of words during the performance made people want to listen keenly to whatever she was saying. This gained her more popularity with many people following up her in her Instagram page. This gained her more than one million new followers in her Instagram in less than 24 hours after her performance. Before her performance she had approximately 886 thousand followers but as at now she has more than 2.1 million followers on Instagram.

Many took to social media to appreciate her exemplary work.
