The Punchline Show TV host Ann Kiguta has revealed how she disagreed with the company management when they had Ndindi Nyoro’s interview cancelled. The interview was to air during the Punchline show on K24 this Sunday. However, the management cancelled it, leaving her with no choice but to comply.
We on the punchline invited Ndindi Nyoro (to feature) on the show. As we all know, Ndindi is a staunch supporter of the Deputy President who has expressed his dissatisfaction with the BBI agenda. However, that interview has been cancelled ~Anne Kiguta.
Ndindi was to share his views on the BBI and succession politics. Being a staunch Ruto’s supporter, he would have put up a spirited debate against the BBI agenda, which may be why this debate had to be called off.
Ann Kiguta continued to express that the decision to cancel the interview was not hers. She added that she disagreed with her seniors about it, but could not do anything about it.
“I must say that this was not my decision and I respectfully disagree with it. We invite politicians of all persuasions because I believe in listening to all sides of the debate. However, the management of the station had a contrary view and their considered view by which this program runs”, she said.
Kiguta proceeded to explain how she had to go with their decision, regardless of disagreeing with it. She noted that the management had a right over how the show had to run and that their decision had to prevail.

The show runs on K24, television owned by the MediaMax Networks Limited. This company is alleged to be co-owned by President Uhuru and DP Ruto. However, the huge feud between them may have sparkled the disputed decision.
Deep State
Earlier, former campaign strategist Dennis Itumbi had warned Nyoro of such an event happening. In a tweet that came hours before the cancellation, Itumbi predicted how ‘deep state’ would pull the strings. That is exactly what happened.
My friend @NdindiNyoro I know you reluctantly accepted this invite by Producer Macharia and@AnneKiguta. My friend, I can bet they will NOT allow you on that set. @MutahiNgunyidoes not like people like you who can read through their plans. Naona Simu ya State inakuja~ Itumbi via twitter.
