TUK Vice-chancellor becomes a permanent member of CAPA

  1. Home>> TUK vice-chancellor becomes a permanent member of  (CAPA). The Chairman Prof. Abdulai Salifu Asuro and the secretary Dr. Olubunmi Owuso, presented the letter to appoint TUK Vice chancellor Prof. Francis Aduol and director TVET Mr. C.T Akumu Owour. Prof. Francis has been appointed as a member of the Executive Board of the CAPA. This is because of his continued support.  A letter presented by the Chairman of CAPA  who is also the V.C of Tamale Technical University in Ghana and the secretary General of Dr. Olubunmi Owuso, with his  team acknowledged prof. Francis for his commitment towards CAPA affairs by ensuring its development. TUK hosts the headquarters of CAPA on behalf of the Kenyan Government. Prof. Abdulai thanked prof. Francis for his  support to CAPA and upholding the spirit of Pan_Africanisim.

Prof. Francis accepted his appointment and said, “In my heart, I feel that I have a genuine commitment to Technical Vocational Education and Training. I believe we can put our minds together as Technical Universities in Africa and strengthen CAPA”. Prof. Francis is expected to support the leadership of CAPA and hold in the implementation of some strategic decision with greater impact both nationally and regionally. The inauguration of the new Board and it’s inaugural meeting is scheduled to take place in Nairobi early October 2020 because of the new Executive board
