Kiharu Mp Ndindi Nyoro has distanced himself from the ugly incident witnessed in a funeral service on Friday. Nyoro found himself in the centre of the chaos in a funeral-turned-battlefield on 25th September. The funeral service was for four family members who had died on a grisly road accident a few days ago. Everything was running smoothly as other politicians gave their speech. However, when Nyoro began, a group of rowdy youth started chaos.
A few minutes into the speech, two groups had already formed. The group opposing Nyoro continued agitating while supporters of Nyoro tried to confront them. These groups continued to cause mayhem while Nyoro struggled to give a statement. However, he had to cut short his remarks and scramble for safety.

The priest had to intervene in effort to calm the situation. However, the agitation continued until that the priests in charge ordered the bodies of the dead to be loaded into the vehicles and taken to the burial site immediately.
I didn’t cause chaos
Nyoro now claims that some known Murang’a Politicians facilitated that unfortunate event . In a statement in his verified Facebook account, Nyoro claims that these people were just insecure.
It was unfortunate that some insecure leaders from Murang’a County chose that as a political arena to measure their feeble muscles and led to the solemn function ending pre – maturely. We must practice decent politics ~Nyoro.
Nyoro has also called off some bloggers who claimed that locals rejected him and chased him off. Contrary, he claims that these residents actually supported him to get on a higher ground to address them.
Other notable politicians who were present were Murang’a Women’s Representative Sabina Chege and former MP Muturi Kigano. Nyoro, who is a staunch supporter of DP William Ruto has notable differences with the two.
